Summary
We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and experienced Accountant to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, monitoring transactions, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and supporting management with accurate financial information for decision-making.
Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain accurate financial records and accounting documentation.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Manage accounts payable and receivable.
Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
Process payroll and statutory remittances.
Prepare budgets and monitor budget performance.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
Assist with audits and tax-related matters.
Monitor expenses and recommend cost-saving measures.
Prepare financial analyses and reports for management.
RequirementsBachelor's Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years proven experience in an accounting role.
Professional certification (ICAN, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent) is an added advantage.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
