We are seeking a competent and detail-oriented Accountant to manage financial records, ensure compliance with statutory requirements, and provide accurate financial reports to support business decisions.
Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports.
Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
Manage accounts payable and receivable.
Process payroll and statutory remittances.
Prepare monthly management accounts and financial statements.
Ensure compliance with tax and regulatory requirements.
Assist with budgeting, audits, and financial planning.
Monitor expenses and recommend cost-saving initiatives.
RequirementsBachelor's Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Professional certification (ICAN, ACCA, or ACA) or progress toward certification is an added advantage.
Minimum of 3 years' accounting experience.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or similar ERP systems).
Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and integrity.
