Job Title: Accountant

We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and analytical Accountant to serve as Assistant to the CFO. The successful candidate will support the CFO in managing the organization's financial operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, budgeting, and strategic financial planning.
Assist the CFO in overseeing daily accounting and financial operations. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and management accounts. Support budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis. Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations. Monitor cash flow, accounts payable, and accounts receivable activities. Assist with financial audits and coordinate with external auditors. Support tax planning, tax filings, and statutory reporting requirements. Analyze financial data and provide insights to support business decision-making. Assist in developing and implementing financial controls, policies, and procedures. Prepare presentations, reports, and financial summaries for management and board meetings. Perform any other duties assigned by the CFO.
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. Professional accounting certification (ACA, ACCA, ICAN, CPA, or equivalent) is preferred. 3–6 years of relevant accounting experience. Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, taxation, and internal controls. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Experience supporting senior finance executives. Knowledge of Zoho Books and financial management software. Strong business acumen and strategic thinking ability. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
