The accountant at e-Clinic & Diagnostic Limited is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all financial operations of the facility. This includes managing payments for procured medical and administrative supplies, handling payroll, and supervising the finance-related personnel, such as the cashier, account officer, billing officer, and inventory officer. The role is pivotal in ensuring financial accuracy, liquidity, personnel, and operational efficiency within the clinic.
Job Responsibilities
Manage clinic financing and ensure liquidity for operations. Process and monitor payments for all procured items and services. Coordinate and execute monthly payroll, ensuring timely and accurate payment of staff salaries, pensions, commissions, and rebates. Supervise and support the cashier in managing daily cash inflow/outflow and bank transactions. Manage the account and billing officer to ensure accurate service billing and prompt invoicing. Monitor inventory control processes in collaboration with the inventory officer. Maintain accurate financial records and reports in compliance with regulatory standards. Prepare periodic financial reports and advise management on financial matters.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. (ICAN, ACCA are added advantages). Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role, preferably in a healthcare or diagnostic setting. Strong knowledge of payroll systems, Nigerian tax laws, procurement procedures, and financial software. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and ERP. Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills. High level of integrity and confidentiality.
