Job Title: Assistant Workshop Manager
Location: Odogbolu, Ogun
Responsibilities
Assist the Workshop Manager in planning and coordinating workshop activities.
Supervise maintenance and repair of plant, machinery, vehicles, and equipment.
Ensure timely completion of preventive and corrective maintenance.
Monitor workshop operations to reduce downtime and improve equipment availability.
Maintain maintenance records, job cards, reports, and spare-parts inventory.
Ensure compliance with safety procedures, PPE requirements, and workshop standards.
Supervise and mentor workshop technicians, mechanics, and apprentices.
Support efficient spare-parts management and timely material requisition.
RequirementsHND / B.Sc. Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 6 years of experience in workshop operations, maintenance, and repair, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, equipment maintenance, and repair.
Good understanding of preventive maintenance planning and inventory control.
Excellent leadership, communication, and people-management skills.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Knowledge of safety regulations and industry best practices.
SalaryN400,000 - N600,000 per month.
