Job Title: Audit Officer

About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented Audit Officer to join our finance/audit team in Onipanu, Lagos. You’ll support audit engagements by testing controls, verifying records, and helping ensure clients meet regulatory and financial reporting standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in planning and conducting internal and external audits for clients
Prepare working papers, audit reports, and supporting schedules
Perform substantive testing, vouching, and analytical procedures on financial records
Check adherence to IFRS, CAMA, FRC, and other relevant regulations
Identify control weaknesses and recommend improvements
Liaise with client finance teams to gather evidence and clarify findings
Draft audit findings and assist senior auditors with final report preparation
RequirementsB.Sc / HND in Accounting, Finance, or related field. ACA/ACCA in progress is an advantage
2 years audit, accounting, or assurance experience. Fresh graduates with strong academics may apply
Strong knowledge of audit procedures and accounting principles
Proficiency in Excel. Experience with QuickBooks, Sage, or other ERP is a plus
Analytical thinking and strong attention to detail
Good written and verbal communication skills
Must be resident in or willing to relocate to Onipanu/Lagos mainland area.
SalaryN180,000 / Month.
