Responsibilities
Plan and conduct internal or external audits.
Review financial statements, accounting records, and supporting documents.
Assess the effectiveness of internal controls and risk management systems.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and legal regulations.
Identify financial discrepancies, errors, or fraudulent activities.
Prepare detailed audit reports with findings and recommendations.
Discuss audit findings with management and monitor implementation of corrective actions.
Evaluate operational processes to improve efficiency and reduce risks.
Maintain accurate audit documentation and working papers.
Stay updated on changes in accounting standards, auditing practices, and regulatory requirements.
