Job Brief
We are looking for a Behavior Analyst to join our team and conduct assessments with each client, decide on the most appropriate intervention strategy and deliver effective treatment as needed.
Behavior Analyst responsibilities include meeting with patients, performing diagnostic assessments and working with families to ensure patients receive the medical attention they need.
Ultimately, you will work directly with patients and their families to deliver effective treatment for patients depending on the type of intervention needed.
ResponsibilitiesCreate simulated conditions and observe the behavior of each client
Formulate an appropriate treatment plan that is sensitive to clients’ cognitive, social, emotional, and sensory needs
Administer treatment and tailor interventions
Suggest additional treatment by other professionals as required
Operate within time, financial and other resource constraints
Remain abreast of changes in research on evidence-based practices
Advocate for the inclusion of individuals with disorders and disabilities within society
Requirements and skills
Relevant training and/or certifications as a Behavior Analyst
Proven work experience as a Behavior Analyst or similar role
In-depth knowledge of and adherence to applicable ethical codes
Valid driver’s license with own transport is preferable
Knowledge of appropriate referral procedures
Excellent verbal and report writing skills
Calm, empathetic and patient demeanor
Ability to remain composed and adherent to best practices, even when under duress.
