Summary
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Finance Manager to lead its finance function and support business growth through sound financial management, regulatory compliance, and strategic financial planning.
Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in line with IFRS and regulatory requirements.
Lead budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial planning.
Manage cash flow, working capital, banking relationships, and liquidity planning.
Strengthen internal controls, manage financial risks, and coordinate audit activities.
Ensure timely remittance of taxes, statutory deductions, and regulatory filings.
Provide financial analysis and strategic recommendations to support business decisions.
Supervise, mentor, and develop the finance team while maintaining high professional standards.
RequirementsBachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
ACA, ICAN, or other relevant professional accounting certification is mandatory.
5 - 8 years relevant experience in Finance, Audit, Internal Control, or Compliance.
Previous experience in the Banking or Microfinance sector is an added advantage.
Strong knowledge of financial reporting, corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and risk management.
Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent analytical, leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is an added advantage.
