Job Title: Finance Manager

Oversee the organization's financial operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance with regulatory requirements. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS, CBN regulations, and other applicable financial reporting standards. Develop and monitor annual budgets, financial forecasts, and cash flow projections to support strategic decision-making and business growth. Manage treasury and liquidity operations, ensuring optimal cash management and efficient utilization of financial resources. Monitor the institution's financial performance, analyze variances, and provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior management. Strengthen internal controls, financial policies, and risk management processes to safeguard organizational assets and ensure regulatory compliance. Lead the accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closing processes. Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring timely resolution of audit findings and implementation of corrective actions. Monitor loan portfolio performance, provisioning, impairment calculations, and compliance with applicable accounting and regulatory standards. Ensure compliance with CBN Prudential Guidelines, Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Know Your Customer (KYC), and other regulatory requirements applicable to financial institutions. Supervise and mentor the finance team, driving operational excellence, performance improvement, and continuous professional development. Develop financial models and management reports to support business planning, profitability analysis, and strategic investment decisions. Collaborate with business units to improve financial processes, cost optimization, revenue growth, and operational efficiency. Stay abreast of changes in banking regulations, accounting standards, and industry best practices, ensuring the organization's continued financial and regulatory compliance.
6–7 years of progressive experience in a Microfinance Bank, or Financial Institution.
