We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Finance Manager
Location: Ogudu GRA, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement financial strategies to support organizational objectives.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and management accounts.
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
Monitor financial performance and provide recommendations for cost optimization and profitability.
Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, tax laws, and financial reporting standards.
Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions.
Coordinate external audits and liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory agencies.
Maintain effective internal controls and financial policies.
Conduct financial analysis and present reports to senior management to aid strategic decision-making.
Supervise and mentor members of the finance team.
Ensure timely filing of tax returns, statutory remittances, and other regulatory obligations.
Evaluate financial risks and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.
Support business planning, investment decisions, and financial modeling.
RequirementsBachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
Professional certification such as ACA, ACCA, ICAN, or equivalent is required.
Minimum of 10 years of progressive finance and accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
Strong knowledge of IFRS, Nigerian tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar ERP systems).
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and financial modeling skills.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
