Description
Our client is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Procurement Officer with experience in manufacturing especially in plastic manufacturing to join the team.
Key ResponsibilitiesSource and procure raw materials, packaging materials, and other production supplies.
Identify and negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best prices and terms.
Prepare purchase orders and monitor deliveries to ensure timely supply.
Maintain accurate procurement records and supplier databases.
Work closely with the production and inventory teams to prevent stock shortages.
Evaluate supplier performance and build strong vendor relationships.
Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies.
RequirementsBachelor's Degree or HND in Purchasing & Supply, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years' experiencein procurement, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of procurement processes, vendor management, and inventory control.
Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
