Architect / Structural Designer

Location: Ode-Remo, Ogun

Job Summary


 We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented, and experienced Architect to join our dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will have over 4 years of hands-on experience in architectural design, project management, and construction supervision.
You will be responsible for leading projects from the conceptual design phase through to completion, ensuring that all designs are innovative, functional, aesthetically pleasing, and compliant with all local building codes and regulations.


Key Responsibilities


Design & Conceptualization: Lead the design and development of architectural projects, from initial concept sketches and feasibility studies to detailed drawings and specifications.
Client Management: Collaborate closely with clients to understand their needs, objectives, and budget, and present design proposals and reports effectively.
Technical Drawing & Documentation: Produce high-quality architectural drawings, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and details using industry-standard software.
Project Management: Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources. Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, ensure quality control, and resolve any issues that arise during construction.
Compliance & Regulations: Ensure all designs and construction work adhere to relevant building codes, zoning regulations, and safety standards in Nigeria.
Collaboration: Coordinate with a wide range of professionals, including structural engineers, quantity surveyors, contractors, and regulatory bodies, to ensure seamless project execution.
Mentorship: Provide guidance and support to junior architects and interns, fostering a collaborative and professional work environment.
Software Proficiency: Utilize and maintain a high level of proficiency in architectural design software.


Requirements & Qualifications


Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture from a recognized institution.
A minimum of 4 years of proven experience as a practicing Architect.
Must be a registered member of the Architects Registration Council of Nigeria (ARCON).
A strong, well-curated portfolio showcasing a range of successful projects.
Expert proficiency in architectural design software, including but not limited to AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
Excellent understanding of building materials, construction techniques, and project management principles.
In-depth knowledge of Nigerian building codes and regulations.
Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a high level of detail and accuracy.
A creative and innovative mindset with a passion for design excellence.


Salary

N250,000 - N400,000 Monthly (Based on experience and portfolio).
