Job Title: Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Location: Ogun (Accommodation Provided)
Employment Type: Full-time
Working Days: Monday – Saturday

Job Summary

  • The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will be responsible for overseeing the organization’s ongoing operations and procedures.
  • As a key member of the executive management team, the COO will drive operational excellence, ensure efficiency, and support the company’s strategic goals.
  • The role requires a visionary leader with strong business acumen, operational expertise, and the ability to manage people and resources effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day leadership and management to ensure efficient operations across all departments.
  • Translate the company’s strategy into actionable operational plans and performance metrics.
  • Oversee business operations, supply chain, production, and administrative functions.
  • Implement and monitor robust systems, processes, and controls to achieve organizational objectives.
  • Drive profitability, growth, and cost-efficiency while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and innovation.
  • Build and lead a high-performing team; provide mentorship and succession planning.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, labor laws, and industry standards.
  • Work closely with the CEO and executive team to develop and execute long-term business strategies.
  • Prepare and present operational reports, budgets, and performance updates to the CEO and Board.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management, Operations, or related field (MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is an added advantage).
  • Minimum of 5years’ proven experience in operations management, with at least 5 years in a senior executive role (preferably COO, GM, or Operations Director).
  • Strong understanding of business functions such as HR, Finance, Sales, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement business strategies.
  • Solid knowledge of corporate governance, business law, and compliance frameworks.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong financial and analytical skills with a track record of driving efficiency and profitability.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Salary
N450,000 / month.
