Civil Engineer

Primary Duties


Site Oversight & Coordination:


Manage and synchronize daily construction activities on-site.
Analyze and implement construction blueprints, ensuring adherence to approved designs, specifications, and standards.
Assess workforce efficiency and guarantee compliance with project timelines.


Project Organization & Execution:


Support project scheduling, resource allocation, and progress monitoring.
Recognize potential setbacks or hazards and proactively propose mitigation tactics.
Confirm that all structural work is performed with technical precision and effectiveness.


Quality Assurance & Control:


Perform inspections to verify that materials and craftsmanship meet project criteria.
Develop and maintain quality control documentation and checklists


Health, Safety & Environmental Conformity:


Implement safety protocols and ensure HSE compliance on-site.
Identify potential dangers and conduct risk evaluations.
Foster a safety-oriented culture among workers and subcontractors.


Technical Documentation:


Generate daily, weekly, and monthly progress updates.
Upkeep site records including work permits, test outcomes, and as-built drawings.
Collaborate with consultants, architects, and clients to resolve technical challenges.


Stakeholder Coordination:


Interact with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth workflow.
Attend site meetings and report on project status.


Qualifications & Experience


Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
At least 5 years' experience in civil engineering, focusing on building or infrastructure projects.
Registered with a recognized engineering organization (e.g., COREN, etc.)
Skilled in civil engineering software (AutoCAD, Revit, STAAD Pro, MS Project, etc.).
Familiar with project management tools and site reporting systems.
