Job Description

• The Food and Beverages Manager ensures smooth operation of the hotel’s restaurant, banquets, and kitchen services, focusing on guest satisfaction, profitability, and compliance.

Core Responsibilities
Guest Service & Quality Control:

• Supervise all restaurant, bar, and banquet operations.
• Monitor food quality, presentation, and service standards.
• Handle guest complaints and ensure quick resolution.

Staff Supervision & Training:

• Schedule shifts for waiters, bartenders, chefs, and stewards.
• Train staff on customer service, hygiene, and upselling.
• Evaluate staff performance and recommend improvements.

Inventory & Cost Control:

• Track stock of food, beverages, and consumables.
• Approve requisitions and liaise with the Purchasing Officer and Storekeeper.
• Implement waste control and portion control measures.

Financial Management:

• Monitor daily sales and submit revenue reports to Accounts.
• Work with the Finance Manager to control costs and improve margins.
• Support menu pricing and promotions to boost revenue.

Compliance & Safety:

• Enforce hygiene and sanitation standards (HACCP & Nigerian regulations).
• Ensure fire safety and emergency protocols in F&B areas.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree with 4 years of experience.
