Role Description
The Land Surveyor – Lagos is a full-time role that involves planning and conducting land and topographic surveys for current and prospective assets within Abode’s portfolio.
Responsibilities include operating surveying instruments, collecting accurate field data, preparing survey reports, and producing drawings or maps to support acquisition, development, and asset management decisions.
The Land Surveyor will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to verify boundaries, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide technical input on asset feasibility and valuation.
The role also requires maintaining survey records, adhering to safety standards, and supporting continuous improvement of surveying processes and tools.
QualificationsWhat we’re looking for:
Minimum of 4 years post-NYSC experience
Proficiency in setting out and parcellation
Ability to pick points, take measurements and generate perimeter surveys
Ability to pick coordinates and chart them both unofficially and officially
Strong experience engaging locals and families on land protection
Ability to lead engineers and coordinate site activities effectively.
