We are recruiting candidaters to fill the position below:
Job Title: Legal Officer
Location: Lugbe - Abuja
Job Type: Full time
Key Responsibilities
Draft, review, and negotiate all contracts: Sale Agreements, Lease Agreements, Agency Agreements, Vendor SLAs, Employment Contracts.
Conduct legal due diligence on property titles, C of O, R of O, etc Advise Management on legal risks, real estate law, tenancy law, and SCUML AMLCFT compliance.
Manage litigation and external counsel.
Represent Barcom at lower tribunals where applicable.
Key Requirements
LLB, BL, and must be a qualified Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria with a current NBA practicing license.
Minimum 2 years PQE with experience in real estate, conveyancing, or corporate/ commercial law. Strong drafting, negotiation, and advisory skills.
Experience with property documentation in FCT/Abuja and other states is an advantage
