Logistics Supervisor Role

Job Summary


The Logistics Supervisor will oversee and coordinate the daily operations of our logistics and warehouse teams to ensure efficient movement of raw materials, finished goods, and other supply chain activities.
The ideal candidate must have strong organizational and leadership skills, and experience in a manufacturing environment is essential.


Key Responsibilities


Supervise and manage inbound and outbound logistics operations.
Coordinate transportation, delivery schedules, and dispatch of materials and finished goods.
Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely movement of stock to and from the warehouse.
Ensure accurate documentation of all logistics and warehouse transactions.
Liaise with suppliers, vendors, and transport companies to ensure timely delivery and cost-effective services.
Implement and maintain health and safety standards within logistics operations.
Lead a team of logistics and warehouse personnel, providing training and performance management.
Resolve any logistics issues, including delays, damages, and compliance challenges.
Optimize logistics processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.


Requirements


Minimum of HND / B.Sc. in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
3–5 years of experience in a logistics or warehouse supervisory role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
Strong knowledge of logistics and warehouse operations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics/warehouse software systems.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Good knowledge of Ogun State routes and proximity to Ogijo is an added advantage.
