Job Summary
The Sales Manager will drive revenue growth for the company's paper packaging business by developing new markets, expanding distribution channels, and building strong relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and key customers.
Candidates must have proven experience in traditional/open market sales, with packaging sales experience highly preferred.
Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
Identify new business opportunities and expand the company's presence in traditional/open markets.
Build and maintain relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and key retail customers.
Drive sales of paper packaging products in line with market demand and customer needs.
Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and pricing strategies.
Negotiate commercial terms and close high-value sales deals.
Collaborate with Production and Operations to ensure timely order fulfilment.
Monitor sales performance and submit regular reports to management.
Recruit, train, and supervise sales representatives where required.
Qualifications and Experience
Proven experience in traditional/open market sales is mandatory.
Experience in food packaging sales, particularly paper or plastic packaging, is highly preferred.
Strong network within open markets, wholesale channels, and distributor networks.
Previous experience in a mid-level or senior sales management role.
Experience in packaging, FMCG, or related industries is an advantage.
