About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and organised Operations Officer to oversee and support the smooth running of our warehouse and distribution operations in Akure.
The ideal candidate should be experienced in coordinating daily operations, monitoring processes, managing operational records and ensuring efficient movement of goods.
Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate daily warehouse and distribution activities.
Monitor the movement of goods from receiving to storage and dispatch.
Coordinate deliveries, dispatches and returns.
Ensure operational processes and SOPs are properly followed.
Work closely with the inventory, accounts, warehouse and logistics teams.
Monitor staff activities and ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
Track daily operational activities and prepare reports.
Identify and resolve operational issues promptly.
Maintain accurate operational documentation and records.
Support inventory counts, stock reconciliation and warehouse audits.
Assist with logistics and delivery coordination.
Ensure the warehouse maintains proper organisation and operational standards.
RequirementsOND, HND or B.Sc. in Business Administration, Operations Management, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
2 – 4 years of relevant experience, preferably within a warehouse, logistics or distribution company.
Strong organisational and coordination skills.
Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic reporting.
Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
Must be proactive, reliable and accountable.
SalaryN100,000 – N150,000 Monthly.
