About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team.
The ideal candidate must have a strong accounting background within the construction or engineering industry, possess a relevant professional accounting certification, and be available to resume immediately.
Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and maintain accurate financial records, reports, and statements.
Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Monitor project costs, budgets, and expenditures across construction and engineering projects.
Process payroll, statutory remittances, and tax filings in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Ensure compliance with financial policies, accounting standards, and relevant legislation.
Prepare budgets, cash flow forecasts, and financial analyses to support management decisions.
Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, banks, and regulatory agencies.
Maintain proper documentation and accounting records for all financial transactions.
Support management with financial planning and other accounting-related responsibilities.
RequirementsBachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
Professional accounting certification (ICAN, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent) is mandatory.
Minimum of 3–5years of accounting experience, with significant experience in the construction or engineering industry.
Strong knowledge of project accounting, cost control, and financial reporting.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.
Must be able to resume immediately.
