Job Description
We are looking for a trustworthy, detail-oriented, and customer-focused Cashier to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling customer payments, maintaining accurate financial records, and providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced wholesale fashion environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesReceive and process cash, POS, and bank transfer payments accurately.
Issue receipts and maintain accurate records of all daily transactions.
Balance the cash register at the beginning and end of each business day.
Reconcile daily sales and prepare cash reports for management.
Assist customers with payment-related inquiries in a professional manner.
Ensure all transactions are properly recorded and accounted for.
Report any payment discrepancies or cash shortages immediately.
Support the sales team in delivering excellent customer service.
Maintain a clean, organized, and secure cashier workstation.
Perform other administrative or finance-related duties as assigned.
Education & Experience
Minimum of HND, or Bachelor's Degree in anyfield.
At least 1 year of experience as a Cashier or in a similar role is preferred.
Requirements:Strong numerical and record-keeping skills.
High level of honesty, integrity, and attention to detail.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
Proficiency in using POS systems and Microsoft Excel is an added advantage.
Work Schedule:Fully Onsite
Monday to Saturday
9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Thursday: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
One day off every month (scheduled by management).
Other Requirements:Applicants should reside on Lagos Island or its environs to ensure easy commute.
Must be punctual, reliable, and able to work in a fast-paced retail/wholesale environment.
Candidates with experience in retail, wholesale, or fashion businesses will have an added advantage.
Remuneration & Benefits
150,000 Monthly Salary.
