We supply a wide range of cross infection control products. We make and supply over 1.3 billion gloves annually to medical professionals, as well as specialists in the food, automotive, janitorial and care sectors. Job Title: Financial Accountant

Purpose of the Role
The financial Accountant will play a pivotal role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and efficient financial operations.
The role focuses on overseeing financial activities, preparing reports, managing budgets, and ensuring the company’s financial health. The ideal candidate will have experience in cost monitoring and possess a strong understanding of financial and regulatory frameworks.
Key ResponsibilitiesReconcile bank statements and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies.
Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts
Monitor actual performance against budgets and analyze variances
Oversee and report on accounts payable with its processes.
Maintain general ledger accuracy and integrity
Ensure compliance with IFRS and other applicable accounting standards
Monitor Expenditures and Perform variance analysis to provide actionable insights.
Cross-checking daily posting of entries and reconciling major supplier accounts.
Prepare and file VAT, WHT, and CIT returns in compliance with Nigerian tax laws.
Updating and maintaining the Fixed Assets register and posting depreciation/Amortisation.
Monitor inventory costing and valuation of all goods.
RequirementsBachelor’s Degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Professional certification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, or CPA) is required.
A member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria .
Minimum of [5] years of experience as a Financial Accountant, preferably in the medical consumables and equipment supply industry.

Accurate and precise attention to detail.
Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
