Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Operations to oversee the company's plant, fleet, workshop, logistics, and maintenance operations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring maximum equipment availability, efficient logistics, cost control, regulatory compliance, and safe operations while driving operational excellence across the business.
Key ResponsibilitiesOversee the day-to-day operations of the plant, fleet, workshop, and logistics to ensure efficiency and business continuity.
Ensure all equipment and vehicles are properly maintained through preventive maintenance, timely repairs, and lifecycle management.
Manage fleet deployment, transportation, and delivery operations to ensure timely, safe, and cost-effective service.
Monitor operational performance, optimize resource utilization, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Oversee fuel, maintenance, spare parts, and other operational expenses while implementing cost-control measures.
Ensure compliance with all health, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
Lead, coach, and manage operations, maintenance, and logistics teams to improve performance.
Prepare and present operational reports, including asset utilization, maintenance activities, costs, and key performance indicators.
Recommend operational improvements to management.
RequirementsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 7–10 years of experience in operations management, preferably in manufacturing, construction, or industrial operations.
Strong leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of fleet management, maintenance systems, logistics, and HSE standards.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and operations reporting tools.
SalaryN250,000 per month.
