Location: Lagos Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive HR Executive to join our team. The HR Executive will play a key role in supporting the HR department with various administrative tasks, recruitment, employee relations, and HR initiatives to ensure the smooth operation of HRfunctions within the company.
Coordinate recruitment activities, including job posting, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting background checks. Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including conducting orientation sessions, processing new hire paperwork, and coordinating training activities.
Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, providing timely and effective resolution. Assist in the implementation of employee engagement initiatives, such as team-building activities, recognition programs, and employee feedback mechanisms.
Maintain accurate employee records, including personnel files, attendance records, and HR databases. Assist in the preparation and distribution of HR-related documents, such as offer letters, employment contracts, and HR policies.
Support the performance management process by assisting in the coordination of performance appraisals, goal setting, and performance improvement plans. Provide administrative support for performance-related documentation and follow-up actions.
Ensure compliance with labour laws and regulations by staying updated on relevant legislation and assisting in the implementation of HR policies and procedures. Assist in the development and communication of HR policies and guidelines to employees.
Coordinate training activities and programs to support employee development and skill enhancement. Assist in identifying training needs and recommending appropriate training solutions to address skill gaps.
Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management or related field. Proven experience in an HR administrative role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting. Strong knowledge of HR practices, policies, and procedures. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in MS Office applications and HRIS software. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. Detail-oriented with excellent organisational and time management skills. Minimum of 4 years of working experience in a professional setting.
