QA / QC Officer - Batching Plant Lekki Phase 1

 Job Title: QA / QC Officer - Batching Plant

Location: Lekki Phase 1, Lagos Key Responsibilities

Implement and monitor quality assurance and quality control procedures for concrete production and related batching plant operations. Ensure raw materials including cement, aggregates, water, and admixtures meet approved specifications and quality standards. Monitor concrete mix designs, batching accuracy, production processes, and delivery. Conduct and/or coordinate concrete quality tests including slump tests, cube/cylinder tests, and other relevant site/plant tests. Maintain proper records of material testing, batch production, test results, non-conformances, and corrective actions. Ensure compliance with approved mix designs, project specifications, method statements, and applicable Nigerian/international construction standards. Work closely with site engineers, laboratory personnel, batching plant operators, consultants, and project management teams. Identify quality issues and recommend corrective and preventive measures. Conduct regular inspections of the batching plant, equipment, storage facilities, and production processes. Support quality audits and ensure proper documentation for project quality assurance.

B.Sc. / HND in Civil Engineering, Building Technology, Materials Engineering, or a related discipline. Experience: 5–10 years. Relevant experience in concrete production, batching plant operations, construction QA / QC, or materials testing. Good knowledge of concrete technology, mix design, testing procedures, and construction materials. Strong documentation and reporting skills. Professional certification or relevant construction quality-control training will be an added advantage.

Remuneration is open for negotiation and will be commensurate with experience, qualifications, skills, and the responsibilities of the role.Application Closing Date
