Job Title: Software Engineer - Mobile (Flutter) Recruitment& Staffing
Location: Ikeja, Lagos (On-Site)
Employment Type: Full-time About the Role
We're looking for a hands-on Mobile Software Engineer to join our team in Ikeja. Working alongside the team, you’ll own day-to-day feature execution, mobile UI implementation, and build real-time location features for our logistics platform. This is a hands-on execution rolewhere you'll take key features from design to production and directly shape the mobile product.
Build clean, modular, and maintainable Flutter code that integrates with backend RESTful APIs and WebSocket streams (e.g., real-time location updates). Manage the app release pipeline, including builds, versioning, and publishing updates to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. Monitor app stability, debug production crashes, optimize frame rates, and maintain fast startup times. Collaborate with backend engineers and product designers to turn designs into fluid, production-ready UI/UX.
Requirements & Qualifications
Must possess a Bachelor's degree or HND from a recognized institution. Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience building, testing, and shipping production applications with Flutter & Dart. Direct experience integrating live location services (e.g., Google Maps/Mapbox), handling background location tracking, dynamic map layers, or real-time event streaming. Comfortable working within an existing Riverpod-based codebase and conventions. Experience integrating REST APIs, WebSockets, offline storage, and caching strategies. Familiarity with app deployment processes on the Apple Developer Console (TestFlight, App Store Connect) and Google Play Console. Proficiency with Git and mobile debugging tools.
Nice - To - Have:
Background in native Android (Kotlin) or native iOS (Swift) for writing custom platform channels. Prior industry experience in logistics, delivery, or urban mobility.- Familiarity with mobile CI/CD workflows (e.g., Codemagic, Fastlane, GitHub Actions) andFlutter testing frameworks.
