Job Title: Student Success Officer
Location: Gbagada, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities
Serve as a primary point of contact for students throughout their learning journey.
Monitor student attendance, participation, engagement, and academic progress.
Identify students who may be at risk of dropping out and provide appropriate support.
Conduct student check-ins, orientation sessions, surveys, and feedback activities.
Respond to student questions, concerns, and support requests.
Coordinate with instructors and program teams to resolve student challenges.
Support students with study planning, learning resources, and general academic guidance.
Organize student engagement activities, communities, mentoring sessions, and career-related initiatives.
Maintain accurate student records and document interventions.
Monitor completion and graduation rates and recommend strategies to improve retention.
Collect and analyze student feedback to improve the learning experience.
Support alumni engagement and post-program follow-up.
RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Social Sciences, Business, Human Resources, or a related field.
2 years of experience in student support, customer success, education, community management, or a related role.
Must reside within Gbagada and its environs
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong empathy, patience, and problem-solving ability.
Ability to build positive relationships with students from diverse backgrounds.
Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
Ability to work with student management systems and learning platforms.
SalaryN100,000 per month.
