Job Title: Tubular Running Services (TRS) Operations Co-Ordinator

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Tubular Running Services (TRS) Operations Co-Ordinator to support the planning, coordination, and execution of TRS operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the timely mobilization of personnel, equipment, materials, and logistics while maintaining compliance with company procedures, client requirements, and industry standards. This role requires a strong operational background in Well Construction and Tubular Running Services, excellent stakeholder management skills, and the ability to coordinate multiple activities in a fast-paced operational environment.
Coordinate personnel, equipment, materials, and logistics to support the safe and efficient delivery of TRS operations. Liaise with clients to understand operational requirements and ensure the timely mobilization of resources in line with project schedules and customer expectations. Serve as a key interface between clients, field personnel, vendors, and internal departments. Advise clients on operational and equipment limitations and recommend practical alternative solutions where necessary. Ensure all TRS equipment is properly maintained, inspected, certified, and fit for purpose prior to deployment. Plan manpower requirements and coordinate personnel mobilization to meet operational demands. Support the recruitment, onboarding, and deployment of permanent and contract personnel as required. Coordinate third-party equipment, service providers, and subcontractors to ensure seamless operational execution. Monitor manpower, equipment, logistics, and project-related costs to ensure activities remain within approved budgets. Ensure operational records, timesheets, certification documents, and project reports are accurately maintained and readily available. Support the invoicing process through the timely submission of operational and cost documentation. Prepare and submit operational reports and updates to management and clients. Participate in an on-call rotation to support 24-hour operational coverage when required. Ensure compliance with company HSE policies, client requirements, and industry regulations. Promote continuous improvement, operational efficiency, and service quality across all activities. Foster effective communication between clients, field teams, management, and support functions to ensure safe and successful project execution.
Bachelor's Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or a related technical discipline. Professional certification in Project Management or a related field will be an added advantage.
Minimum of 6 years' experience within the oil and gas industry, preferably in Well Construction and Tubular Running Services (TRS) operations. Significant wellsite, field, or offshore operational experience. Proven experience in an operations coordination, project support, supervisory, or logistics coordination role. Experience coordinating TRS equipment mobilization, personnel deployment, operational logistics, and resource planning. Demonstrated experience interfacing with clients, contractors, subcontractors, and multidisciplinary teams. Previous experience in project coordination and operational planning. Proven ability to lead teams and manage operational activities effectively.
The role is based in Port Harcourt and will require frequent travel to offshore locations, client sites, operational bases, and project locations within Nigeria and, where necessary, internationally. The successful candidate must be willing and medically fit to travel offshore and undertake offshore assignments as required
Strong understanding of Tubular Running Services operations, equipment, and well construction activities. Knowledge of TRS equipment maintenance, inspection, certification, and mobilization requirements. Experience with project planning, operational reporting, budgeting, and cost control processes. Good understanding of HSE standards and oil and gas industry best practices. Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and operational interfaces effectively. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and operational reporting systems.
