Job Summary
Are you a results-driven sales professional with strong FMCG experience and a proven track record of achieving sales targets?
We are looking for a commercially focused Area Sales Manager (ASM) to drive sales growth, expand market coverage, manage distribution channels, and lead a high-performing sales team in Aba State.
Key ResponsibilitiesDrive achievement of sales targets within the assigned territory.
Develop and execute effective territory sales plans.
Expand market coverage and identify new business opportunities.
Manage distributors, wholesalers, retailers, and key customers.
Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team to deliver results.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
Ensure product availability, order generation, collections, and effective market execution.
Prepare sales forecasts and performance reports.
Collaborate with Logistics, Planning, Finance, and other teams to ensure excellent customer service.
RequirementsPossess a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field with 3 – 5 years of relevant sales experience preferably within the FMCG industry.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
Experience in distributor and Route-to-Market (RTM) management.
Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
Good knowledge of the "Aba market" will be an advantage.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
