Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Medical Doctor to join our factory clinic in Endo, Nasarawa State.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing quality medical care to employees and ensuring the effective operation of the clinic.
Key ResponsibilitiesAttend to staff and other authorized patients presenting with illnesses, injuries, and medical emergencies.
Conduct medical consultations, examinations, diagnosis, and treatment.
Provide first aid and emergency medical care when required.
Monitor and manage occupational health and workplace-related medical cases.
Maintain accurate and confidential medical records.
Prescribe medications and refer patients to hospitals or specialists when necessary.
Conduct routine health checks and promote preventive healthcare among staff.
Advise management on staff health, workplace safety, and medical concerns.
Ensure proper management and availability of medical supplies and equipment.
Prepare periodic medical reports and health statistics for management.
Work closely with the HR and Safety departments on employee health and welfare matters.
RequirementsMBBS or equivalent medical qualification from a recognized institution.
Valid registration and practising licence with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
Minimum of 2 years’ relevant clinical experience; experience in occupational or industrial medicine is an advantage.
Ability to work effectively in a factory/industrial environment.
Good communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills.
Ability to respond calmly and effectively to medical emergencies.
Must be willing to work in Endo, Nasarawa State.
