Job Title: Spa Therapist
Location: Magodo, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities
Welcome clients warmly and provide a professional, relaxing experience.
Consult with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and any health concerns before treatment.
Perform a variety of spa treatments, including:
Body massages
Body scrubs and exfoliation
Facials
Body wraps
Aromatherapy
Hot stone therapy (where applicable)
Recommend suitable treatments and skincare products based on clients' needs.
Maintain a clean, hygienic, and well-organized treatment room before and after each session.
Sterilize and sanitize equipment and tools in accordance with health and safety standards.
Ensure fresh linens, towels, and supplies are always available.
Monitor clients' comfort and well-being throughout treatments.
Keep accurate records of client consultations, treatments, and preferences.
Promote spa packages, memberships, and retail products to increase sales.
Schedule and confirm client appointments when required.
Handle client feedback and complaints professionally, escalating issues where necessary.
Comply with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
Maintain confidentiality of client information.
Stay updated on new spa treatments, products, and industry trends through continuous learning.
Assist in achieving the spa's customer satisfaction and revenue targets.
Work collaboratively with receptionists, nail technicians, hairstylists, and other team members to ensure seamless service delivery.
Perform any other duties assigned by the Spa Manager or Operations Manager.
QualificationsDiploma or certification in Beauty Therapy, Spa Therapy, Cosmetology, or a related field.
1–2 years of experience in a reputable spa or wellness center.
Knowledge of skincare products and wellness treatments is an added advantage.
Current certification in massage therapy or related treatments is an advantage.
