We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented accountant to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and supporting the organization's financial operations.
Must have some experience overseeing the finance department activities
Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain accurate financial records and accounting systems.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Reconcile bank statements and company accounts.
Process payroll and statutory deductions.
Prepare budgets and monitor financial performance.
Ensure compliance with tax and regulatory requirements.
Assist with audits and financial reviews.
Monitor cash flow and financial transactions.
RequirementsBachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Professional certification (ACA, ACCA, ICAN, or equivalent) is preferred/an advantage.
Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience.
Proficiency in accounting software (SAGE) and Microsoft Excel.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Must have an experience overseeing an account department
Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Must reside close to location (fully onsite role)
Must not be more than 40years of age.
SalaryN350,000 - N400,000 per month.
