Job Title: Operations Manager
Location: Jabi District, Abuja (FCT)
Position Summary
As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking an experienced and results-driven Operations Manager to lead our production activities and drive operational excellence.
The Operations Manager will be responsible for ensuring the efficient day-to-day operation of our semi-automated block manufacturing plant.
The successful candidate will oversee production planning, workforce management, equipment performance, dispatch operations, and continuous process improvement to ensure production targets, quality standards, and customer delivery commitments are consistently achieved.
Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement daily and weekly production plans to meet customer demand.
Supervise and optimize semi-automated block production processes to maximize efficiency and minimize waste.
Plan and deploy labour effectively to achieve production targets.
Coordinate finished goods dispatch and ensure timely order fulfilment.
Monitor plant performance, downtime, and equipment utilization, escalating maintenance issues promptly.
Track and improve production cost per unit through operational efficiencies.
Monitor raw material inventory and proactively manage stock levels to prevent production interruptions.
Ensure compliance with quality standards, workplace safety policies, and operational procedures.
Prepare production, maintenance, and operational performance reports for management.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives across production and plant operations.

Plant downtime percentage
Labour productivity and efficiency
Cost per unit produced
Frequency of raw material and finished goods stock-outs
Dispatch and delivery readiness
Workplace health and safety performance
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Operations Management, Manufacturing, or a related discipline.
5–8 years' experience managing operations in a manufacturing or production environment.
Previous experience in a semi-automated block manufacturing plant is highly preferred.
Strong knowledge of production planning, plant operations, maintenance coordination, and inventory management.
Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and team management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, with strong reporting and analytical capabilities.
Reporting Line:Reports directly to the General Manager.

Maintenance Technician
Production Labourers
Driver/Dispatch Team.
