We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Professional Accountant
Location: Asokoro, Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, reports, and statements.
Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
Reconcile bank statements and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Monitor cash flow, budgets, and financial performance.
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, tax regulations, and company financial policies.
Process payroll and oversee financial transactions with accuracy.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
Coordinate internal and external audits and provide required documentation.
Identify opportunities to improve financial controls, efficiency, and cost management.
RequirementsBachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience as an Accountant.
Professional certification such as ICAN, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent.
Strong knowledge of financial reporting, taxation, and accounting principles.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (Sage, QuickBooks, Odoo, or similar ERP systems).
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
High level of integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
Ability to work under pressure and meet reporting deadlines.
