Job Title: Valves QA / QC Officer

Job Overview
The QAQC Officer ensures quality assurance and quality control during the inspection, testing, and documentation of valve assembly processes in compliance with international and client standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesInspect incoming, in-process, and completed valves.
Witness hydrostatic, pneumatic, and seat leakage tests.
Verify dimensional and visual inspections.
Review and approve inspection records.
Prepare quality dossiers and test certificates.
Maintain calibration and traceability records.
Raise non-conformance reports (NCRs) and monitor corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with API, ASME, ISO, and client specifications.
Support internal and external audits.
Maintain overall QA/QC documentation.
Qualifications and Experience
Academic Background: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Physics, Geology, or IT.
Years of Experience: 2 to 10 years.
Certification: HSE Level 1-3.
ISO 9001 Internal Auditor certification (Advantage).
ASNT Level II (VT/PT/MT) (Advantage).
Knowledge of API 510/570/598 (Advantage).
Coating Inspection certification, such as AMPP or NACE Level 1 (Advantage).
Key Competencies and Knowledge:Knowledge of industrial valves and valve components.
Valve inspection, quality control, and pressure test witnessing.
Review of inspection and test reports, and dimensional inspection.
Interpretation of engineering drawings.
Knowledge of API, ASME, and ISO standards.
Documentation, traceability, and root cause analysis.
Good communication skills and computer proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Personal Attributes:Safety conscious, analytical, detail-oriented, objective, disciplined, organised, and ethical.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
