Job Title: IT Manager

We are looking for an experienced and proactive IT Manager to oversee the organization’s technology infrastructure, systems, applications, and day-to-day IT operations. The ideal candidate should have 3–5 years of relevant IT experience, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage both technical operations and user support. The candidate should be capable of working independently, identifying and resolving technical issues, and ensuring that all IT systems remain reliable, secure, and operational. The candidate must also reside in Egbeda or a nearby location and be able to conveniently commute to the workplace daily.
Manage and maintain the organization’s IT infrastructure, systems, and applications. Monitor computers, networks, internet services, and other IT systems. Provide technical support to staff and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues. Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot computers and other IT equipment. Manage user accounts, access permissions, and system security. Ensure regular data backups and support data recovery processes. Monitor and maintain network connectivity. Manage software installations, updates, licenses, and system upgrades. Identify IT risks and implement appropriate security measures. Protect systems and devices against unauthorized access, malware, and other security threats. Maintain accurate records of IT equipment, systems, licenses, and technology assets. Coordinate with external IT vendors and service providers when required. Develop and enforce IT policies, procedures, and best practices. Train and guide staff on the effective and safe use of IT systems. Recommend technology solutions that improve efficiency and productivity. Prepare regular reports on IT operations, issues, and system performance. Perform other IT-related duties assigned by management.

3–5 years of relevant experience in IT management, systems administration, IT support, or a related role. Bachelor’s degree or HND in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field. Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, networking, and troubleshooting. Experience managing IT systems and providing technical support to users. Good understanding of network infrastructure, internet connectivity, and cybersecurity. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to manage multiple IT issues and prioritize tasks effectively. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and take initiative. Strong organizational and documentation skills. Reliable, responsible, and security-conscious. Must reside in Egbeda or a nearby area. Must be able to commute conveniently to the workplace on a daily basis.
