Performance Officer

Location: Ajah Axis, Lagos (Onsite Only)

About the Role

Are you passionate about aligning people with performance and driving excellence across teams? Brit Properties is hiring a Performance Management Officer to join our HR team and help build a high-performing workforce aligned with our strategic goals.

As our Performance Officer, you’ll be responsible for designing and implementing performance management systems, supporting monthly appraisals, managing improvement plans, and driving employee development initiatives. This is an on-site role, and candidates must reside around the Ajah axis for ease of commute.

Key Responsibilities


Develop and oversee performance management frameworks and KPIs.
Facilitate monthly performance reviews and SMART goal setting with team leads.
Support managers with job description development and alignment of roles with company objectives.
Monitor and coach employees on Performance Improvement Plans (PIP).
Analyse performance data and present actionable reports to management.
Coordinate confirmation processes for employees completing probation.
Recommend training programs based on evaluation outcomes.


What You’ll Bring


Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Admin, or related field (HR certification is a plus).
1–3 years of relevant HR experience, ideally in performance management.
Proficiency in MS Office and HRIS tools.
Strong communication, analytical, and coaching skills.
Practical knowledge of labour laws and HR best practices.
