Job Summary
Are you an experienced Ticketing Agent with a passion for delivering exceptional travel experiences?
Our client is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented professional to join their team.
As a Ticketing Agent, you will be responsible for managing flight reservations, issuing and reissuing tickets, handling itinerary changes, and providing excellent customer service to clients.
The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of airline reservation systems, fare rules, and travel documentation while ensuring seamless travel arrangements for customers.
Key ResponsibilitiesBook, issue, reissue, and cancel domestic and international flight tickets.
Handle flight reservations and itinerary modifications.
Advise clients on the best flight options, fares, and travel routes.
Process refunds, exchanges, and ticket revalidation in accordance with airline policies.
Ensure accuracy of all travel bookings and documentation.
Provide prompt and professional customer support before, during, and after ticket issuance.
Stay updated on airline schedules, fare changes, travel regulations, and visa requirements.
Resolve ticketing issues and customer complaints efficiently.
Maintain accurate booking records and prepare periodic reports.
Collaborate with the sales and operations teams to ensure excellent service delivery.
RequirementsMinimum of 3 years of experience as a Ticketing Agent in a Travel and Tours Agency.
Strong knowledge of airline ticketing procedures and fare rules.
Proficiency in GDS platforms such as Amadeus, Galileo, or Sabre.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple bookings simultaneously.
Good problem-solving and organizational skills.
A diploma or bachelor's Degree in a relevant field is an added advantage.
Professional certifications in airline ticketing or travel management will be an added advantage.
Salary & Benefits
N200,000 – N250,000 monthly (based on experience and qualifications).
