We are looking for a skilled, energetic and customer-centricCoffee Barista to join our team and help us build an outstanding café culture. As a Coffee Barista, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality coffee and beverages, providing excellent customer service, maintaining the coffee bar and equipment, controlling beverage stock and supporting smooth daily café operations.

Prepare and serve espresso-based beverages including espresso, americano, cappuccino, latte, mocha and specialty drinks Grind, dose, tamp and extract espresso correctly to ensure consistent quality Steam and texture milk to the appropriate standard for different beverages Prepare hot chocolate, iced coffees, smoothies and other café beverages according to approved recipes Maintain consistency in taste, portion, presentation and temperature Take customer orders accurately and process orders using the POS system Recommend drinks and other menu items based on customer preferences Deliver warm, friendly and professional customer service Build positive relationships with regular customers Maintain a clean, organised and visually appealing coffee station Clean and maintain espresso machines, grinders, blenders and other equipment Monitor stocks of coffee beans, milk, syrups, cups and other beverage supplies Assist with daily and weekly inventory checks Report low stock levels and equipment issues promptly Minimise wastage through proper portion control and storage Follow food safety, hygiene and sanitation standards at all times Maintain excellent personal hygiene and grooming standards Keep cups, utensils, counters and work areas clean and sanitised Handle customer complaints professionally and escalate when necessary Work closely with the kitchen, service and management teams Support general café operations when required Maintain the cafe's service, presentation and brand standards at all times

Candidate Requirements

1–2 years' experience as a Barista in a similar café/beverage role required Practical knowledge of espresso preparation and coffee-making techniques Comfortable operating commercial espresso machines and grinders Good milk-steaming and texturing skills Latte art skills are an advantage Good understanding of coffee beverages and basic coffee terminology Excellent customer service and communication skills Friendly, confident and professional personality Strong attention to detail Excellent cleanliness and personal hygiene Ability to multitask and work efficiently during rush hours Reliable, punctual and responsible Ability to work effectively as part of a team Willingness to learn and receive feedback.
